The hot springs of Casamicciola: Castiglione park
Castiglione thermal water park is in the municipality of Casamicciola, at the foot of the hill that lends its name to the park. A picturesque funicular railway transports visitors up from the ticket office to the pools at Castiglione.
The park has a dozen thermal pools, with temperatures ranging from 30 to 40 degrees, Kneipp pools, a natural sauna, a thermal treatment centre, two restaurants, a general store and a beauty centre. Although it doesn’t have a beach, it has a cool deck over the sea equipped with loungers and sun beds.
Despite being physically located in the municipality of Casamicciola, the park is very close to the municipality of Ischia. It is practically midway between the two historical centres. It benefits from a good public bus service.
