Chiaia beach
The family beach: Chiara in Forio
Chiaia is a large beach in the municipality of Forio. This long sandy beach is just a five-minute walk away from the town centre and is a popular destination for families because of its vicinity to the centre, its very shallow water and the presence of numerous beach clubs. A convenient walkway provides disabled and pushchair access to the beach.
There is a beautiful view from Chiaia overlooking the verdant Mount Epomeo. Various events are organised on the beach throughout the high season, including swimming competitions and children’s entertainment. There are plenty of restaurants, pubs, pizzerias and bars, both on the beach and on the road that runs alongside it.
