Hot springs in the sea: Sorgeto bay

The small Sorgeto bay is in the Panza district of the municipality of Forio. It stands out for its hot thermal water, which emerges from the pebbly shore. The pebbles have been arranged in circles to create hot water pools, where you can even bathe in the middle of winter.

The bay can be accessed down a convenient long flight of stone steps, or via taxi boat from Sant'Angelo. Because of the particular location of Sorgeto bay it is not very sunny in the afternoon, even in summer, meaning that it is cool and breezy.

There is also a beach club with restaurant in the bay. There is no sandy lido. The beach is made up of large pebbles.
